Box Score

That is the last time I speak out on your behalf, Elon.  And my suggestion that you give Adam Constantine more touches wasn't meant to be taken seriously.  Shame on the lot of you.

NCSU OR% Elon OR%
1st Half 33.3 47.4
2nd Half 52.4 27.8

Turning the rebounding around was a key for the Wolfpack in the second half, because Elon continued to shoot well and take care of the basketball.

Elon

Having watched almost all of State’s games via the internet or attending a game, this is the first time their play reminded me of the play of the 2007 and 2008 teams. State came out like they had just eaten a big fat steack and was still licking their lips and pickin their teeth. luckily, State picked it up offensively, but State never got their minds into their defensive play.
when one sees a bug on the kitchen floor one must squash it right away least it thinks it owns the place.
now everyone who along with me knew that as soon as Scott Wood got to State he would not be able to hit the broad side of a barn raise your hands.
we love you Scott, but stop that heavy weight lifting, get tot he gym and shoot, shoot and shoot. let time put weight on your body. at your position speed and shooting ability is more important. don’t let heavy weight lifting ruin you like Shavlik Randolph and Andrew Brackman did. each lost thier hops, speed and outside shooting touch due to putting on bulk by heavy weight lifting. each also suffered injuries for the same reason.

Maybe

Scott Wood can get keys to the RBC center. I really hate that the team has such limited practice time there.

Scott Wood

Scott didn’t shoot well at Reynolds either. after his last shot, he really dropped his head. i really feel for him.
