Nate Irving Will Miss The 2009 Season
WRAL:
N.C. State linebacker Nate Irving is out for the season, Wolfpack coach Tom O'Brien said Thursday.
Irving suffered multiple injuries in a June car accident when returning from his home in Wallace. O'Brien said he was scheduled to see a doctor Thursday who would evaluate his leg.
No pleasant surprise to be had today.

welp
another one bites the dust.
On a serious note this may hurt Nate in the NFL draft, but its not really THAT bad of a thing for NCSU IMO… I feel we are a year away from being what TOB set out to accomplish here. That solidifies Nate being here to be a BIG part of that. IMO of course.

Ah well
But did anyone see him on the news? Was surprised to see him walking without a cast. If the leg really is the issue (which TOB said it was), it seems like you can go from walking to playing in 2 months… but I guess with the violent nature of football, being “healed” is very different than for you or me.
Get well, Nate. And keep your ass in bed til 530am from now on…
