Toney Baker Is Back Indeed

Here's the depth chart for the South Carolina game.  Congratulations are in order for Toney Baker, who's come back from two long years of inactivity to make his way to the top of the running back rotation.  This doesn't mean that he'll be the feature back so much as it does that he'll simply be the guy with the first crack at it, but it's still a nice accomplishment.

Some impact newcomers, perhaps: R.J. Mattes won the job at right guard, C.J. Wilson beat out DeAndre Morgan for a starting spot at corner, while defensive linemen Michael Lemon and Nate Mageo both made the two-deep.

Glad he made it back

It’s been a rough couple of years for Baker, for sure.

Just 5 more days! :)

Wow

I’m pretty damn happy if someone’s good enough to beat out Morgan at corner… sucks for him, but happy for what that says about our talent there…

Should be good news for CB depth as well, which has become a concern recently.
