Lowe Wants Team To Hang By The Bar, Put Out The Vibe

Vibeit_medium

ACC Now:

"They do a great job of speeding up the game," Lowe said Friday during his weekly news conference. "… They force their opponents to speed up the game, and a lot of teams can't play that why."

[snip]

"While they're trying to be going at one pace, we need to be going at a different pace," Lowe said. "… While they're speeding up our minds, we need to be able to slow our minds down."

Lowe has the right idea, as there is a decent inverse relationship between pace and Clemson's defensive efficiency.  If we're gonna do this thing, though, we gotta do it right.  That means replacing the intro tune with soothing ocean sounds and having the band replace the fight song with "Un-Break My Heart."

I do not

have high hopes for this game. I didn’t have high hopes for last game either, so what do I know?

Any reason all our weekend, home ACC games are at noon? (I know it has only been 2)Is it just TV scheduling? I don’t ever remember watching a well played, noon bball game. Plus, our wary fanbase will probably be even more subdued for a noon start. Not a big fan of noon games.

i want to see State

breaking Clemson’s press, going straight and hard to the hoop, and runing, runing, runing. i also want state to play fast, play hard, and press after made baskets. shoot the three Scott!
i am attending the game, and as always, am looking forward to doing so.

as i wrote at another blog, i am not the coach, so if my idea of how to play dosen’t or can’t work, i don’t have to pay the price for a loss. :-)

I'm afraid to ask

Is there a liveblog?

And am I welcome to attend?

No Liveblog

for me, I stumbled upon a free ticket to the game. So in the crazy miracle that we win, I’ll expect free tickets for the games for the rest of the season from each of you!

also, WOTH, stay away from the liveblog, FAR FAR AWAY!

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless
