Javi Plays A Little Nylon Song

Because nothing stands in the way of Javi Time. Not the shot clock, not a 6-10 power forward, and certainly not a measly 27 feet.

in the postgame interview

they asked Javi if he was going to give Tracy anything else for his birthday. Javi said he would “give him a kiss.” It was pretty funny.

Steven, your prognostication comes through again...

“gonna need the flame tonight, i think "

Indeed we did… and you said that AFTER he started out looking as if he’d never touched a basketball. Well-done, sir!

I still think that was a dumb-ass shot….

Long on heart, short on brains.

You're joking, right?

The shot clock was down to one. This was one of the only desperation heaves we had all night long. Javi made a great move, created a little space, and nailed a very nice shot. Nothing dumb about it.

Methinks you’re one of the Sidney-haters, and you’re watching your dream of a Sid-less NC State basketball team go up in smoke before your eyes. Better get used to it. We got us a coach. And his name is Sidney.

GO PACK!!!

love your enthusiasm, but

no need to label PeeDub a Sid-hater for that opinion. (You wouldn’t want him to sick the Hypnotoad on you.)

No

Not a Sid hater. Not much of anything right now. My State Fan setting is on ‘warm’. Games like that might bring me back to the front burner, though. It’s just a self protection thing.

No, what was dumb was that he shaked, baked, shaked, baked, shaked, baked, heaved. He didn’t have a backup plan. It went in, so that’s good. And the warm fuzzies come out. But don’t call it a smart shot. It was lucky. But sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.

I kinda agree

only reason why he had to take that shot because for the last 5 seconds of the stop clock no one moved. It look like they had just called an isolation play and Javi couldn’t get around his man so he just stepped back and jacked it up. But he had to put that shot up, no one was moving and no way he could have drove it in.

Steelers football is 60 mins.

Tracy merely scoffed at this portion of your preview

“As per usual, Duke makes life outside the arc impossible for opponents, funneling them inside whether they like it or not. What’s especially scary about this team is its wealth of interior size, which is a perfect complement to that philosophy. Their opponents’ results haven’t been pretty.”

You want pretty? I got ya pretty!!!!! FADA!!!!!!!
