That's no way to hold a football.

Seriously. Did she take lessons from Adrian Peterson?

All Wolfpack, all the time.

What seed do you project them getting with and without a win over BC tomorrow?

Up to #36 in the RPI

So somewhere in the 8-9 range, I would think. Based on ESPN’s projections, which had us as a 9-seed prior to the ACCT, we could go as high as 7, I suppose. But Jerry Palm had us as an 11-seed prior to the ACCT.

Looking at the boxscore

Virginia looks like a one woman team. It also looks like it would have been an ugly game to watch. Great win for the lady pack! That pic of Harper never ceases to amuse me.

is that picture really Harper?

last night’s game wasn’t as ugly as State/Clemson; Wake/Ga-Tech and FSU/BC. early on it reminded me of the afternoon Duke/Maryland game, but it did bog down somewhat after Wright got her second foul and that other UVA player got hit in the eye. and yes, UVA last night was a one woman show.
SFN and the News and Observer still are unsure of State being in the NCAA’s, but was a SOS of 23 and an RPI of 41 before the tournament, i feel they are very much in.
i was surprised that Kastanek led the team in scoring last night as i thought she didn’t play that well having a number of turnovers although she did hit that big three at the end of the first half and two straight threes midway through the second half. the shot of the game went to Gartrel who hit a bit three to extend the lead to 5 with about a minute and 45 left. that shot broke UVA’ s back. Gartrel shot well last night, not as good as Wright of UVA, but good for her. Strachan again gave Kastanek scoring help while Holston had a bad night.
i read that Harper sang some popular you tube song about going to the dentist to Kastanek to calm her down late in the game. its good that Harper can relate to her players in this way. right now Harper is playing with house money in that all State players playing were inked by Yow. will be similar next year. i read the bio’s of the class that Harper inked for next year and while i was not dissappointed, i can’t say i was impressed. however, due to her late hiring, it was reasonable. Harper will have to do better to move up the ladder in the ACC-more or a mix of top 50 top 20 signings.
i got carried away and had a few silly post yesterday-sorry.

The Pack's in the tourney without a doubt

Their resume is clearly strong enough, and they’ve finished VERY strong.

Between State and uncch, the Pack is a MUCH surer bet at this point. Without uncch’s fluke win over Duke, I’d venture to say that they’re out.

Yet another impressive win over BC.

Harper’s Lady Pack are in the ACC Tournament finals in her very first season. They were 17-18 from the line.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J.
