sfn ran an article which stated with certainty that Fowler would be gone in short order. i think that this article stated that Fowler had already been let go and was just biding his time at Lake Gaston until the date came. i keep wondering what happened as sfn is most time correct.

The best part is, now that Oblinger is gone, we might hire a competent AD. Also, SFN ran an article like that every 6 months for the past couple of years (or so it seemed). They were due to be right some time. Why would MSU hire one of the most incompetent AD’s in the country? sfn is really blowing their own horn right now with regard to the Fowler thing. this is something for which they are really good. i admitt, i read sfn every day just like i read backing the pack everyday, and most of what they write is good. but they do love to blow their horn.

the Braves finally won again! The worries I had in the preseason about the lack of power and team speed seem well founded now.

that JP Giglio is reporting that Fowler and NCSU have come to terms on his removal. He is getting paid the remainder of his contract, which sucks, but I’m happy that this mess if finally over.
