I was going to ask “Do you think things will change under Debbie Yow?” but then as I scan up from the bottom of the list, Maryland is right about N.C. State …

I'd like to see a break down
Regarding recruiting budget vs expenditures per scholarships vs travel etc. BC and Miami up top make me think recruiting and travel are paying a bigger role than some of the other things.
I also wonder, as a UNC guy, how our renovations are factored into these numbers. Still noteworthy either way. As for Brian’s comment about Yow, it will be interesting. I’d have expected MD’s numbers to be higher as well since they did just wrap up the Byrd renovations.

If the bulk of expenses was travel, I’d have to think that Florida State would be closer to the top though. Boston and Miami have major airports going for them, which can reduce ticket prices. Tallahassee doesn’t really have that going for them.
Then again the four Carolina teams are towards the bottom, which lends itself to the travel argument (or just that they don’t care about football and are simply counting down the days until Midnight Madness).

How many of those schools
are still paying coaches that they fired?
