Around SBN: The Pros and Cons of an 18-game NFL Schedule

"Maybe I’ll watch this game if I’m not washing my hair or something"

That rousing endorsement comes from a commenter on this NC State overview at the AJC:

What to watch: N.C. State’s passing offense vs. Georgia Tech’s pass defense. The Yellow Jackets had all sorts of issues last season stopping the better passing quarterbacks in the league, particularly on throws across the middle of the field. They won’t have faced an offense to this point in the 2010 season that passes the ball as well as the Wolfpack. This could be the breakout game for the 3-4 in terms of sacks, or it could be a wake-up call.

I'm thinking of making that comment my new football mantra, or at least the basis for a sliding scale of watchability.

My mantra for the season?

“Let’s stay in the parking lot & keep playing cornhole… the beer’s out here.”
