Unofficially, NC State racked up 527 yards on 81 plays (6.5 yds/play). Georgia Tech attempted 18 passes, which says everything, really.

Wow. I need some time to collect my thoughts because the only thing running through my head right now is JOY JOY JOY JOY JOY JOY POINTS WIN JOY JOY JOY 4-0 WINNING YAY JOY.

Could it be

that Tom O’Brien finally has a season going without an outrageous number of injuries early in the season? I would be interested to see a comparison of the number of injuries from each his first 3 seasons with this year so far.

And RW is still 4th in QB rating… looking at his stats against the guys ahead of him, it’s hard to understand the calculations… but also hard to compare, since he’s averaging a shit-ton of attempts per game. Which is juuuuuussssssttttt what he needs to do…

Every other punter in the league is averaging 40+ yards and we can’t crack 35. Yeesh.

Quarterback ratings

One thing that’s always bugged me about how these are calculated is what I think is an overemphasis on completion percentage. I think yards per attempt is a much better indicator.
