it looks like Bryan Underwood can be a real threat at
receiver once he stops dropping passes-and that may be over. State needs some of their young receivers such as Underwood and Payton to really “step it up” for the rest of the season. I have no faith in T.J. Grahm who appears to have attitude issues and can not catch the ball all that well. Palmer has not shown me that much either.
I am a Russell Wilson fan, but i am not disappointed in Wisconsin’s loss which most likely ends Wilson’s chance for a Heisman and Wisconsin’s chance for a National Championship. My reason is that i am getting tired of ESPN’s effort to “stick a fork in State” over the Wilson thing much as they did for the Lowe-Sendek thing. Wilson could have committed to the State football program, but he chose to play baseball. I have no issues with this, and things probably turned out better in the future for Wilson, Glennon and State with Wilson’s decisions. If i had to bet, i would pick Glennon as playing in the NFL over Wilson playing in the NFL although both Wilson and Glennon may make it to the NFL, or neither may make it to the NFL. It would have been ashamed for Glennon to not get an opportunity to show pro scouts his talent.
Receivers
Haha, I never had faith in Graham either as he has never shown good hands, but I’m still shaken by George Bryan’s poor play this season. Howard seems to have taken a step back, as well. I like what Palmer has brought to the table and if Jay Smith continues to improve and we get some production out of Underwood and Payton, we can be competitive with anyone. I think the addition of Hakeem Flowers next year will be great for Glennon.
TOB
I loved how he was giving Underwood a stern talking to after that TD. Ward seemed to think it was for his “Shh!” celebration, but I’m pretty sure TOB was telling him, “You were supposed to step out of bounds after that catch! Do NOT do that again.” #notoriousTOB

I thought
the stearn talking to was for Christophe’s hand slap after the TD. We’ve had players get concussions from less

"And for the last time,
cut those sideburns Underwood! Looks like a regular hacky sack convention around here!"
