Based on those first two factors, I'm surprised the win ended up being as easy as it was, but State was so dominant in the rebounding and free throw categories that those things obviously made a huge difference. Lorenzo Brown made as many free throws as the entire Campbell team.
I was worried that this sort of game would develop since we're as prone to bad defense as Campbell and their primary efficiency impediment is turnovers, which we do not force. Darren White and Eric Griffin were pretty much as advertised but I'm not surprised they weren't able to keep up with the Wolfpack offense.
Richard Howell was a monster on the boards and finished with 17 rebounds (7 offensive) to go with 17 points, while Lorenzo Brown scored 24 points, grabbed eight boards, and dished out eight assists. That's not a bad day.
