Someone stole our mascot's phone at the bowl game:

Police say someone stole the cellphone of the NC State Wolfpack's mascot during the Belk Bowl Tuesday night.

Andrew White, 22, of Raleigh, said that someone removed his Blackberry Curve from the cheerleaders' locker room at Bank of America Stadium during the game, according to the incident report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Two things here. I'm extremely disappointed to learn that Mr. Wuf had a Blackberry and not some comically large mascot-sized phone. Like one of those really old cell phones from the '80s. Secondly, don't tell us there's a dude under that costume, you're ruining it for the children (and me)! I'd much rather think of Mr. Wuf as a real wolf-person who is incredibly enthused about various NC State athletic pursuits for some reason presumably related to a bizarre evolutionary twist who also uses a giant '80s cell phone.
