-- That's a soft and advantageous September for a football team that's probably going to be starting a new quarterback. Wake Forest figures to be better, but we still have three games to start the year that we should win with no problem. Liberty is a I-AA school, while South Alabama (also a I-AA school) only recently started a football program. Three weeks for Glennon to get acclimated.
-- Best thing about cupcakes in September: 6 PM kickoffs. I'm guessing both the Liberty and South Alabama games will be set for 6.
-- It's a back-loaded schedule, so the critical division games don't happen until late. There is a month and a half between our first division game and our second division game. I think our last five games will be the toughest five on the schedule. Fortunately three of those are at home; I just hope the November weather is especially kind to us this year.
