Wake raced down the court and Douglas launched a contested three-pointer from the corner that banked off the backboard, swished through the nets and meant the Pack was playing its second extra-session contest of the year.
Women lose in OT. One of the strategies Sid employs that I've always liked is fouling up three with 7-8 seconds or less to go. Many coaches, like Kellie Harper apparently, prefer to play defense instead...and sometimes the shit banks in off the fan.

and then the freshman, Douglas, who fired in the banker goes crazy in overtime scoring 7 more points and hitting two additional three pointers.
such lucky shots tend to work in the favor of the team who makes them, especially, if the home team. basically, the shot knocked the Pack back on their butts!
and sometimes the Sid foul strategy is used
and a dude from the opposing team (Florida-Parsons) hits a 90 footer for the win! either way, State can’t win!
just to show that no matter what a State coach
chooses to do-it can end badly, and many times it does. very sad. very, very sad.
