Very Interesting
3/4 BCS programs in the state ranked highly. Come on, Duke. The metric isn’t going to be perfect, of course, but it seems to follow common sense while revealing a few surprises. Always a fan of quality attempts at developing good/new metrics.
This doesn't tell you who develops talent
any more than it tells you what coaches have an eye for recruiting.
There are definitely flaws
to the analysis. But at least it makes for an interesting discussion in the quiet period of college football.

Now, someone needs to do the same for basketball (hint, hint).
