Still, Harrow will miss playing with Lorenzo Brown, his Godbrother, and close friend C.J. Leslie, who was coached at Raleigh Word of God by Erasto Hatchett, Matthews’ son-in-law.
"He actually loved the area that he was in," she said. "It’s just that he wanted to have that opportunity [to visit other schools]. If the NCAA allowed him to go out on these visits and be able to go back to N.C. State, he may have made that choice. But the NCAA doesn’t allow him to do that.

This whole thing just pisses me off
Sorry – but it does. The kid has no plan… you don’t bail without a plan.
Oh, to be 18…
Based on the schools he is visiting.
Besides Georgia, he is basically ruling out any chance of being a starter for the rest of his career.
Yet
he says a requirement of him going somewhere is to be guaranteed the starting job.
This makes me wonder
Maybe Gottfried wasn’t as high on Harrow as his recruiting rankings. If he was thinking he might like to stay, why just go? Lowe spoke of Harrow as the best PG State had coming in to the program in years and years. If he really was, wouldn’t Gottfried have fought harder to keep him, especially given his close relationships with Brown and Leslie?

I was that high on him
He was our best point guard – our first true top-notch point guard – since Chris Corchiani.
The whole thing just sucks.

I was too
But, I based that all on his rankings/ratings. I just wonder if MG saw something to give him doubts. This just sounds weird, if he was still thinking he might like to stay.

Which is sad
since he was terrible defensively and had the lowest shooting percentage of any player in the ACC (with enough shots to qualify).
Could he actually decide to not transfer? Not sure if we’d want him back, but could he make that choice, or even transfer for NCSU to NCSU.
His mom's comments make that sound impossible...
… but I have to acknowledge that (1) I have no idea if that’s true, and (2) I have no idea why it would be the case.

If it were possible...
…would the coaches be willing to take back a kid who bailed?
