State Critic, Failed Lawyer Now Also Failed Sports Blogger

You may remember some douche named Matt Jones, a blogger on cbssportsline.com, taking vicious potshots at NC State/NC State fans throughout the recent basketball coaching search.  At one point I think something he wrote got posted here and we mocked him for a bit.  He was every bit as vitrolic, if not more so, than Jeff "Look Ma, No Chin!" Goodman, but he didn't get as much noteriety because no one knew who the **** he was. 

Well I just happened to see on my twitter feed today via Gregg Doyel that said douche was no longer at cbssports.  If you care to read his narcisstic post about how writing about actual basketball games rather than making unfunny jokes about sports was so boring and beneath him, along with his humblebragging about his failed law career, go here:  http://kentuckysportsradio.com/?p=83382#comments  You don't have to read too hard between-the-lines here to figure out that his services were no longer required at cbssports.com after they lured No-Chin Goodman away from Fox Sports (oh, delicious irony!).  Now he can puruse his true passion of  preaching to the masses of psychotic Kentucky fans.  Good luck with the Boy Estrogen Harrow Era, folks.

I pass this along because it's funny to laugh at this clown, but it's worth keeping in mind, should you ever get pissed about some media hit piece, that these are the type of people we're dealing with.  A guy who pissed away a top-10 law school education and 3, fucking 3 federal clerkships that could have gone to deserving aspiring attorneys to run a 4th-rate blog with a lame-ass title and fail at being a poor man's Gregg Doyel.

From one Duke law school grad to another...good luck with the student loans, buddy.
