Jarvis Byrd Out For Season, Mustafa Greene Out Until October
It's late July which of course means it's bad news season. Tom O'Brien announced this afternoon that Jarvis Byrd tore an ACL during 7-on-7s last week, while Mustafa Greene isn't expected to return to action until early October. Byrd missed all of 2010 after tearing an ACL against North Carolina at the end of the 2009 season and had worked himself back into the two-deep at corner heading into camp next month. This most recent injury occurred in the other knee.

I feel bad for Byrd
He had such a promising start to his career, and I fear that we can no longer expect him to fulfill that promise.
I guess this is just the start of the crippling football injuries that have run rampant for TOB’s tenure, minus last year.
Poor Guy
ACL on each side! Unbelievable.
So what’s the deal with Greene? Bad news. Hope Glennon can throw.
That's horrendous... just yesterday I saw he was back at the top of the depth chart
And terrible about Moose…
Hate to hear that for you guys.
Hope them both the best in their recovery, and hope Greene is at full strength for your game against us.
