Since becoming a consistent starter for the Titans in 2008, Tulloch has averaged 122 tackles per year, including last season, when he went for a career-high 160. He's known for his sure tackling, but can drop into pass coverage effectively as well -- just the kind of versatility Schwartz is looking for. Plus, there's that chip on Tulloch's shoulder.

Stephen Tulloch has joined Willie Young on the Lions and holy crap he had 160 tackles last year. As for Young, Detroit hopes he can step into a bigger role this season.
