"I've worked really hard, and I think my hard work will show on the field," Glennon said. "That's the best way I can put it."

That's a really nice article
I have thought it over and decided that I am shutting up about the Wilson/TOB situation for the time being and maybe forever.
Mike Glennon is our QB. He was rated more highly coming out of high school than Andrew Luck, Landry Jones, Blaine Gabbert, and E.J. Manuel per Rivals and/or Scout. He could have gone anywhere but chose to come to Raleigh. He has patiently waited for 3 full seasons for his chance to start. He’s already an NC State graduate. He deserves my unconditional support with no more whining about some guy that used to play for us. He’s our guy and I think he’s going to kick ass.
Go Pack.
I'm afraid that not enough people will assume that posture
Glennon is going to have such an uphill battle- realistically I think 8-9 wins is doable this year, but even with that you’ll have the “yea but wilson would have won 10” contingent out there bickering.
Given that we are breaking in a rebuilt backfield and WR corps, a complete blowup (notwithstanding who is under center) is not impossible with a few ill timed injuries and bad breaks. Luckily that never happens around here.
Worst case, if the kid is an enormous flop and we chased off the 2nd best QB state has had in my memory, I put that on the coach not the player. What’s he supposed to say, “nah, I’m good sitting right here for a fourth year. The view is good and the seat is comfortable.”
I Just Disagree on One Thing
If we win 9 regular season games, there will be some who say “Wilson would’ve one 10” but I think most fans will be happy with 9 wins and mainly just be excited about our potential in 2012 and consider that had we kept Wilson, our 2012 would be a crapshoot…instead of a season where things would all be falling into place…
Great quote
Ready for tomorrow and to see what Glennon can do!
Glennon is going to great, maybe top 5 in Wolfpack history in
only 2 seasons.
Go get em Glennon
Best of luck to you young man tomorrow and play well. Just an interesting thought here, cause its never going to happen…
BUT - what if somehow, Glennon and Wilson were both in the Heisman race at the end of the season, how sick would that be???
Thought Wilson played pretty well last night, but it was no UNX games 2 years ago. Don’t know if I’m more nervous about Glennon and the WRs, or our defense getting off the field during the first drive. D doesn’t seem to have a good track record of that in first games from my shotty memory.
