NC State Football Recruiting: DE Kenderius Whitehead Commits To Wolfpack
Kenderius Whitehead, a 6-4, 200 pound defensive end from Georgia, picked NC State on Wednesday. Since it's too soon for articles, I'll just point to his announcement on Twitter:
I've decided to play my next four Years of college Football at NC State. Why? Because its in my heart. # 9 Go Wolfpack

Whitehead is rated a three-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout, though ESPN gave him four stars. He holds offers from a bunch of BCS schools, including Georgia and Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Florida, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Clemson, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech. I don't pretend to know how the whole prospect ratings thing works, but that offer sheet is impressive. So he certainly passes the offer sheet test.***
Here are some highlights of Whitehead's work in high school; I especially like the first one, where he just runs really fast and jumps on a horribly botched punt snap.
(***Not a real test.)

I typically judge a football
recruit by his offer sheet more than his star rating, so I am excited about asian bridal
You might have missed
the spam post on this thread earlier with lots of incoherent sentence fragments and a hyperlink to “asian bridal”

Random Dude: Hey, Asian Bridal! Good game last night.
Kenderius Whitehead: Uhhh, yeah. Thanks man.
Random Dude: Keep it up AB!
Kenderius Whitehead: Sure thing. Uh, see you around. (looks at friend confused) What did that dude call me?
Friend: Asian Bible, i think.
Kenderius Whitehead: White people can’t pronounce Kenderius for crap.
This guy
reminds me some of Art Norman. He seems to be very fast for lineman.

What will he do next year?
With those offers, he could play as a true freshman. But no way someone plays on the D-line at 200 pounds. Could they use him at outside linebacker? Freakish punt-blocker, ala Manny Lawson?
There will be none of that
flashy punt blocking around these parts. If other teams choose to block our punts, that is their choice and they will just have to try and live with themselves for making it.
