All common sense says come to State and be apart of a great class and a team on the rise. He’ll get more playing time with only have CJ Leslie ahead of him and Lewis is a great PG to play with.

He’ll go to duke if he gets caught up in the name… duke, coach K. But with only one of the plumlee brothers leaving this year, He’ll have Mason Plumlee and ryan Kelly ahead of him next year and probably won’t see much of playing time.

State has been on him longer and harder. I think it will be close but we had the perfect storm of good happen when Jefferson visited, i think that leaves a real good impression on him. Seeing that crowd after we shutout UNC and how they came right to the basketball game afterwards was a great atmosphere. Also I like that Purvis was showing him around, Duke recruited him too and Purvis can explain why he choose state OVER Duke.

With Lewis’ rise in the rankings which I think will be reflected after they are updated, adding Jefferson will lock us into the 2nd best class in the nation. If they still manage to get gathers we’d challenge for the #1 class.
