Audie Cole And T.J. Graham Off To Good Start At Senior Bowl
Scouts and NFL-associated persons of varied repute talked about their impressions of the first day of the Senior Bowl practices, and both Audie Cole and T.J. Graham made some positive impressions. (Though Graham did have his share of drops, according to this account from the Philadelphia Eagles website.)
NC State WR TJ Graham has real impressive speed and runs better routes then first anticipated. 5'11 183lbs. Could turn into a nice slot guy

TJ Graham continues to impress. Made a nice catch in traffic, running good routes. Can tell he's got 4.4 or faster speed.

Another NC St. LB, Audie Cole is a hardnosed kid that flows well tackle to tackle.

#Vikings coach Mike Singletary took a liking to #NCState LB Audie Cole, coached him up similar to Patrick Willis when he was down here

Names who stood out today: Chris Polk, Audie Cole, Russell Wilson (lot of zip on this one), Mike Adams.

Mayock on #Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson: "Could be Doug Flutie. I mean, that's how good this kid is. Innate understanding of making plays."
— Evan Silva (@evansilva) January 23, 2012
(Mike Mayock is a draft analyst for the NFL Network.)
More Mayock on Russell Wilson: "He's a playmaker, I don't care how tall he is. He's got a good enough arm. ... That kid is special."

Stick around - you'll learn to take nothing here seriously
Except biting sarcasm and cynicism – we’re pretty serious about them…

since the Redskins, my NFL team, will not have a
high enough first round pick to get a “can’t miss prospect” at quarterback-if there are any-, i hope they draft Russell Wilson in the later rounds.
I'd like to see Wilson
go to a good sit and watch type situation, seeing as how he is hardly a can’t miss and would need to be a polished pro to be successful…I don’t think he’s good enough to learn on the fly, not to say he can’t do it. A Matt Flynn-type situation would be perfect

Russell goin in a mid-round (4 or 5 round) pick to...
San Fran or Miami…I don’t know, I just got a feeling he will end up at one of those two places.
I think Audie has a chance to be a better pro than collegiate athlete, but I can’t see Graham sticking at the pro-level.
TJ will get multiple chances
He had a vastly more productive collegiate career than Alvis Whitted, and Alvis managed to collect a lot of NFL paychecks. Speed in the NFL is like tall in the NBA.
the hands are the problem
TJ’s got all the athletic tools, but the NFL isn’t going to put up with all the drops. Hope I’m wrong, though.
I agree that Cole is going to be a great pro. I was hoping he would get back into boxing and be heavyweight champ of the world!

The Steelers are probably looking for a new young backup QB
Looks like Dennis Dixon is gone, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them take Wilson.

Maybe he can give a morality lesson or two to Ben
Do Steelers fans have a pool going on his marriage? haha
Pitt would be a good spot for him to end up.
I wish big ben would give me a morality lesson
