Bryan Underwood Wants To Go Right Now

PrintI missed this during the game, which certainly had nothing to do with the beer and liveblogging and such, but it seems Bryan Underwood committed one of the most false false starts ever against Louisville in the Belk Bowl.
The gif of the play (which is after the jump; you may need to click the image to see it in motion) made Jon Bois' list of the top 50 sports gifs of 2011. Underwood is just really excited to be out there with a chance to get his name on the Stanley Cup, which has been awarded to the Belk Bowl champion since 1923.

the commitment he showed to the route.
had to be and he was going to make sure he caught it
he just knew it was going for a touch down and then when he got down the field he new he was open….

Not nearly as awesome as Underwood
but I like the slow lean forward by Washington. Looks like he might be going for the “Smooth Criminal” look.
I am in tears now
The Duke play right below Underwood on the list … it’s just … I mean … the Dukest thing ever.
