La Tech head coach will interview with State the morning before the emergency Board meeting.
It's all but confirmed that Sonny Dykes, head coach for Louisiana Tech, will interview for the NC State head coaching job Wednesday. Dykes is a Leach air-raid disciple, so a hire would mean a whole new breed of action in Carter-Finely on Saturdays in the fall. Dykes led La Tech to a Poinsettia Bowl appearance this year and was named 2011 coach of the year. More is sure to follow as things are moving quickly, but indications from all the various news sources are that this adds up - apparently hints have been dropping since Yow's conference Sunday.
