The Florida State-Big XII crap continues to be the dominant storyline at the ACC meetings this week, but there has been a bit of news with actual substance to it. When Syracuse and Pittsburgh finally join the ACC, the conference's basketball tournament will be expanded to include all 14 teams and run Wednesday through Sunday.

It looks like the current Thursday through Sunday format will remain as is, so on Thursday I'm guessin' we'll have:
No. 5 vs. 12/13 winner
No. 6 vs. 11/14 winner
No. 7 vs. No. 10
No. 8 vs. No. 9
Or not. Who knows. There's no telling what those crazy kids over there in the league office will do. One thing is for sure, though: that Wednesday session is going to be pretty much the worst thing imaginable.
