Pack Pride reported this morning that NC State will be getting from Louisiana State sophomore guard Ralston Turner, who apparently intends to transfer from LSU.
NC State will be hosting 6'6 2/3 Ralston Turner this weekend for an official visit.Turner is a 2-year starter transferring from LSU.

I haven't seen any confirmation on that report, though. There's this update from LSU's Scout site:
There are rumblings that LSU sophomore swingman Ralston Turner has been granted his release. LSU’s media relations contact Kent Lowe declined to confirm the rumor, saying Turner was still completing finals this week.
Just looking at Turner's KenPom profile, he has the potential to be a solid replacement for Scott Wood--not that their skill sets are identical, mind you, but Turner (6-6, 205) is a good outside shooter to go with his good size, and he could fill something approximating Wood's sniper role in 2014. Turner hit 37.2% of his threes last season.
Also, if his offer sheet listed here is accurate, he had an offer from Mark Gottfried and Alabama back in the day.
