Lorenzo Brown Injury: NC State PG Will Have 'Exploratory' Knee Surgery On Tuesday

Pack Insider reported Sunday morning that Lorenzo Brown has been scheduled for knee surgery, and while PI has taken that post down, the school has confirmed that Brown is set for an "exploratory" operation on Tuesday.

Senior guard Lorenzo Brown will undergo exploratory knee surgery on Tuesday, the school announced on Sunday. His status for the team's preseason trip to Spain in August, and the start of the 2012-13 season in November, will be re-evaluated after the surgery.

Sounds like Brown himself isn't sweating it too much, but since nobody knows the nature of the injury, I wouldn't take too much comfort in that Purvis tweet just yet.
