Nature Halts NC State Basketball Game, Plus Other Items

-- Dangerous floor conditions cut the basketball team's fourth exhibition game short.

"There’s no doubt in my mind that was the right decision to make," N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried said in a statement. "You could see the players being tentative on the court and, when you play that way, that’s when you can get hurt."

State led 55-41 at halftime when the game was called.

-- Mustafa Greene is thankful for a second chance.

"I’m fortunate enough to get a second chance," Greene said. "I just thank coach O’Brien and my teammates."
