Volleyball Loses Fourth Straight Game

As predicted in the last fanpost regarding volleyball, State lost to Duke. As such, it was the team's fourth straight loss.

From GoPack:

The NC State women’s volleyball team's comeback against 15th-ranked Duke fell short Wednesday afternoon, 3-1 (25-20, 25-14, 20-25, 25-18), inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. With the loss, State falls to 20-11 overall and 11-8 in Atlantic Coast Conference competition, while Duke improves to 26-4 overall and 17-2 in the ACC.

State still remains in fourth place in conference standings; however, Miami is now tied at fourth with State. As of November 25, 2013, State's NCAA ranking is 54th. Since the NCAA gives out 64 bids with 31 automatic qualifiers, State has a chance to make the tournament as an at large selection.

Again from GoPack:

The Wolfpack will conclude the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 30 when it travels to Wake Forest. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.

State certainly needs a win at Wake. There is no volleyball tournament to decide the conference champion. The conference champion is decided by regular season records.
