Led by a career-high 26 points from senior center Markeisha Gatling, the NC State women's basketball team improved to 10-1 on the season with a dominating 91-51 win over visiting Elon (2-5) Sunday afternoon inside Reynolds Coliseum.

The win was the fourth straight for State and improved the Pack's home record to a spotless 7-0. It was also NC State's ninth win of the season which was by a margin of 15 points or more.

Gatling's 26 points came on a career-high 13 made field goals on just 14 field-goal attempts, ranking as one of the greatest single-game shooting performances in program history. Sunday's game marked the fourth time in her NC State career she has scored 20 points or more and the third time she has done so this season.

Gatling is currently shooting .700 form the field while leading the team in scoring at just over 14 points per game.

State is now 10 and 1 and is off until their big December 20th match-up at home against LSU, currently number 13 in the AP poll and number 14 in the Coach's Poll.
