We went into the game with VT with a KP rating of 31. We left with a rating of 43.

We knew that our SOS rating would take a hit over the next few weeks. We also knew that losing any of the games against our weaker opponents would cause our RPI to stumble. But did anyone know that one shootout with VT would drop us 12 spots in the KenPom ratings?

Now I find the last poll to be the most accurate. However, people who are into "statistics" and "facts" seem to prefer the first 5. I expect RPI to be off in it's own little world. But in this case it is KenPom that is out on the island. So why the variation?
