Florida State and UNC will meet in baseball after all. The Noles are going to drop by Chapel Hill for what will be a non-conference game held just before the start of the ACC tournament, which is in Durham this year. Should the NCAA have a hard time deciding which of N.C. State and FSU should be granted super regional hosting rights, this game might prove influential. Win or lose, it will be a huge RPI boost for the Noles to play the #1-ranked team on the road.
Of course the Pack can make it a moot point with a sweep over the Noles this weekend, or by winning the ACC tournament, but anything short of either of those outcomes will likely make the added game with the Heels a factor in the NCAA tournament seeding.
Go to hell, Carolina.
