Battle Suspended for Wake Forest Game

His high fives are a little more awkward than his uppercuts. - Grant Halverson

Is it enough?

Clemson coach Yabba Dabba Dabo Swinney announced that Isaiah Battle, who was ejected from Thursday's 26-14 win over N.C. State for leveling Jarvis Byrd with an uppercut, will be suspended for the Tigers' upcoming blowout win over Wake Forest. Swinney also said that Battle will receive undisclosed punishments each day this week in practice, and that the 6-7, 285-pound tackle was immediately remorseful on the sidelines and knows he cannot repeat his actions. Apparently Dabo missed the part of the game tape where Battle laughed with teammates immediately after the incident.
