Pack in the Super Bowl Webrun

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

There's so much content out there, mostly on Russell. A quick search can keep you occupied for hours. Here are some of the ones I like best...

Why Russell may be the most important athlete in the Pacific Northwest's history - you may have seen/heard about his work at the children's hospital - if not, this is a must-read

Discussion of his baseball prospects - which may have been alright long-term if he focused on it

Russell's dad's impact on him - includes discussion of why Russell let his hair grow late this season - I won't call it ugly or mangy anymore

More on Russell being a better person than I'll ever be

Was hoping to find one on Nate's recovery from the near-fatal car accident, and his path to the Super Bowl - instead I find something about him playing Pokemon in his hotel room - but maybe the accident is part of the reason he's not going out to party - he's here to play football

Then finally, something on the accident - good piece - his story is unlikely enough that FOX should find a way to highlight it during their bajillion hours of pregame

Another one on Nate overcoming near-death to start in the Super Bowl

Article saying Super Bowl has the NFL's two best kickers - nice bump for Hauschka

SI article on Hauschka - good history on him

Happy to find a New Yorker article on Sweezy and his flip from D-Line to O-Line

Another on Sweezy was on Bleacher Report - but I won't link them - just..... no.

Happy that today is truly a "no-lose" Super Bowl - unlike some years (like 2013) when it's a bus-wreck game. If Peyton wins, good for him - I can't help liking the guy, and maybe he'll retire. If Russell wins... just holy shit, man.

Wings, nachos, and beer are on tap... let's roll....
