The #goacc Moment of the Week (2/22/2014)

Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

The weekly in-depth look at the best (worst?) moments in ACC schadenfreude.

Thankfully, we don't have an unbearably painful loss to deal with this week, so let's celebrate with another tremendous edition of the #goacc Moment of the Week. Last week, the Duke-UNC managers' game brawl proved to be too much to overcome, despite a strong effort from Tyler Lewis and his Mutumbo swat of Mark Thomas. I'm not sure we'll see another dominate performance this week, because we've got such a strong group of entries that honestly, I have no idea which one will win. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Tyler Hansbrough spears Mike Dunleavy through the Spanish Announce Table.

OK, I embellished the last part. But good lord, the timing of this incident was pretty hilarious, given that it happened the day before Duke-UNC. There's something missing from this video, however...what could it be?

Ah, there it is. Any time you can add commentary from Jim Ross to a video, you have to do it. Come on FOX, what's it going to take to get good ol' JR to call a college football game next season? (special thanks to wolflion for finding that video).

2. One of Virginia Tech's players forgot their jersey when checking in today.

I mean, that seems like something you should remember, right?

3. This cardboard cutout of Roy Williams makes a fantastic wanking motion (h/t @bart_smith).

The first time I saw this, I nearly passed out. Someone from State needs to steal this for the game Wednesday night, pronto.

4. Boston College hands Syracuse their first loss (h/t @Michael_Necci, @UMWolfpack87, @FigNewtonVT, @BeerControlVT, and @brentjackson7)

Look, I could make a whole post about tweets from Boston College upsetting Syracuse, because statistically it's one of the most improbable upsets ever. So, did the Eagles use this unbelievable victory to help vault them towards a somewhat respectable finish this season?

No, no they did not.

5. The scoreboard operator at NC State vs Clemson was drunk (h/t @JamesCurle).

"Oh shit! I fell asleep for the last two possessions...hope nobody notices!"

6. The seating chart for the ACC Tournament features an unfortunate misspelling of UVA (h/t @WNFIV.)

I can't help but picture the doctor from this Family Guy clip reading the legend for the seating chart:

7. This UNC fan is a tad too excited (h/t @the_Jameson).

Calm down, bro.

8. MOAR ACC OFFICIATING FAILZ (h/t @jamescurle).

Look at this. The ref is no more than 4 or 5 feet away during the entirety of this debacle. But nah, there's not a problem with ACC officiating. Not at all. Well, lets give the stripes another chance - maybe they'll get this call right!

Yeah, that was too much to ask for.

9. Stephon Marbury has a weird birthday party in China (h/t @chernykh and @sbnation).

I'm not sure I want to know how this happened, but let's go to the GIF from @SBNation:

I think I'd rather be locked up for attempting to start a fight.

10. Jay Bilas confuses Sean McDonough.

I don't know what that means either, Sean.
