Hinton has chosen Wake Forest. While, I don't think we truly needed him in this class, as we supposedly have our QB of the future coming in as a true freshman this year.
But, we only have four commitments now, and none of them are really high caliber recruits. Some are 3 stars, but are really all more of the "sleeper" or "project" type recruits.
And we seem to be offering a lot of new people over the last few weeks. That tells me that we have missed on our initial(and probably secondary) targets and are now trying to get whatever we can.
There is still time to turn this around, and camps start this week(maybe today if the weather holds), but I'm not very optimistic right now that we will end up with a good class.
Of course, this could be expected coming off an 0-8 ACC season. But, we are not going to turn it around we average at best recruits. TOB did not leave us with much, so we can't replace average players, with more average players if we expect to produce a better team.
Hopefully next week, the trend will be looking up, but I'm just not feeling like it will be
