That was a weird headline to write, and obviously not just because this is the first year that there has been an ACC basketball coaches poll. NC State received eight of 12 first-place votes, Duke received three, and UNC received one. Folks joke about coaches voting in polls--and rightfully so--but I'm impressed that they have Miami at No. 4 in this case. If the Hurricanes finish lower than fourth in the ACC this year, I will eat my shorts, and you can hold me to that.
