Members of NC State's marching band showed up on UNC's campus Wednesday night to play State's fight song at various Carolina dorms, and while sadly there were no photos (that I've seen), we know it happened thanks to Twitter. On Thursday, Carolina fired back. How, might you ask? THIS HOW:

We'll see you "on the 50"? Isn't that a little optimistic for a school that got shut out in this matchup last year? Anyway, your standard trumpet-related hubris aside, can anyone explain what is going on here? There may be sarcasm involved but it's more fun to consider this a sincere gesture. I'm expecting an approximation of West Side Story to break out at halftime. Nowhere near the 50, mind you. But somewhere on the field of play.
