Kentucky Hires Mark Stoops

One vacancy has been filled. Stoops spent the last three years as Florida State's defensive coordinator.

"I am thrilled to be named the head football coach at the University of Kentucky," Stoops said in a release. "My family and I are excited and looking forward to becoming a part of the Big Blue Nation."

So that's one BCS conference program to go the coordinator route. Is Kentucky's job better than ours because it's in the SEC? I honestly have no idea on that one, but this may be an indication of the caliber of coach we can expect to hire.
