National signing day is in the books, and there were no major surprises for NC State. No super top secret mystery all-americans, no singing to recruits (that we know about). Dave Doeren met with the media to talk about it all on Wednesday afternoon:

"This is a great day for NC State and our football program," he said. "We are ready and excited to welcome this class. It's been a busy couple of months for our coaches and for the kids making the decisions, but our motto was ‘1 Pack, 1 Goal' throughout the process. We recruit as a staff and every member of our staff has contact with these guys. We look at our team as a family and if they choose to join this family, they have to meet a lot of people."

Every program in the country had a great day today. Just one time I want a coach to come in completely depressed about the whole thing and slam his class at every turn.
