NC State Football Recruiting: Tony Adams Commits

Bob Levey

When Coach McNutt goes all-caps hashtag crazy, you know what's up.

This time it's offensive lineman/defensive tackle Tony Adams, another in-state prospect from Charlotte. NC State is clearly making inroads into that part of the state, which is extremely important to the future of the program. They may not be headliners, but you gotta start somewhere.

I think we'll begin to see bigger gains in the 2015 class, after the coaches have had more time to build relationships with kids and coaches in this state. But they've already done a good job of drawing the attention of some high-profile players -- Kentavius Street being one example.

Adams isn't ranked by any of the recruiting services, though according to Scout he has offers from UNC and South Carolina.
