A copy of the coach’s new contract (download PDF), which was approved by N.C. State’s Board of Trustees on Friday, shows that Gottfried can earn up to $1 million in bonuses annually. That includes a maximum of $250,000 in bonuses for "academic team achievement" and up to $750,000 for what’s labeled as "competitive team achievement."
