NC State's representatives made some good impressions during the first day of practice.
"In the past I've always thrown up after those long returns," Graham said. "I always get really sick because it's different energy systems. Same thing happened on Saturday except I had to go back out there and contribute on offense. There's no hiding behind Owen [Spencer] or Jarvis [Williams] after that I had to go step up as the go-to-guy and help us get out of that hole."
Graham said he thew up immediately after that nullified long kick return. Then it was right back to playing.
"Yeah, it was pretty funny."
Are you guys aware of the fact that you’re the one position group that Tom O’Brien has said is still unsettled?
TJG: Of course we are. We’re a bunch of knuckleheads. We have probably the most athletic group on the whole team, we just don’t know what to do with ourselves. We need to figure out what each person is, how we’re going to contribute, but getting into camp will help settle that.
Wide receiver T.J. Graham had three touchdown catches during the workout, gaining 140 yards on six catches. "T.J. was as good as I’ve seen him today," said head coach Tom O’Brien following the scrimmage. "I saw him go up and fight for balls and bring them down. Hopefully that will carry over."
