Andre Brown fumbled the ball while trying to switch hands on a play up the middle. The ball rolled all the way back to the end zone, where it was eventually covered by NC State offensive lineman James Newby for a safety that gave the Deacons a 15-14 lead.

So of course Wake's margin of victory ended up being two points. More later...
