Home/Road Addendum

In the comments to the first post, Mike wondered about the difference in efficiency margin between home and road games for each team. Here's that list, from smallest difference to largest:
Home Margin - Road Margin

Duke 2.0
Clemson 3.1
NCSU 6.3
UMD 10.6
Wake 12.3
BC 16.6
Miami 17.7
UVA 18.3
UNC 20.5
VT 22.2
GT 23.6
FSU 24.7
While I wouldn't feel comfortable calling the Tar Heels inconsistent (they were just really freakin' good at home), it is fair to attach that label the three teams below UNC.

For instance, the average score of FSU's eight home games was: Noles 76, Opponent 67. And their eight road games: Noles 71, Opponent 79.

It might be more enlightening to look at how the teams' performances changed relative to the rest of the league.

Four teams dropped in rank:
 HomeRk RoadRk Change
FSU 3 9 -6
GT 2 7 -5
VT 4 8 -4
Miami 10 12 -2

Five teams climbed in rank:
 HomeRk RoadRk Change
Duke 8 2 +6
Clemson 9 4 +5
BC 7 5 +2
NCSU 12 10 +2
UMD 5 3 +2

And three teams stayed in the same place:
 HomeRk RoadRk Change
UNC 1 1 0
UVA 6 6 0
Wake 11 11 0
