-- The pain, the pain! This is the slowest game we'll play all season, and I'm having a difficult time recalling one more excruciating to watch. Just brutal. The only way the rest of our games even approach being watchable is if zone defense is outlawed. If a short, terrible halfcourt defense like Presbyterian's can pack into a zone, remove JJ Hickson from the game, and hold us to less than a point per possession, well...

-- I'd misspoken previously when I said we hadn't forced a turnover percentage over 20.0 all season--we did against South Carolina State. And again today, so that's twice. Hooray.

-- Gavin did the brunt of the work today, using 36.1% of the possessions and posting an excellent 117.5 ORtg. At times it looked like he was the only one asserting himself against Presbyterian's defense, the only person not content to fruitlessly whip the ball around the perimeter. And he deserves a lot of credit for his elevated performance this season; he's really cut into his turnover rate and is playing more efficiently than he ever has. We're going to lose a hell of a lot more than four games, obviously, but that won't be GG's fault.
