Catch Tonight's ACC Tournament Game On FSN

NC State's game against Clemson, which is scheduled to start at 8 PM, will be televised by FSN.  I'll be there as well and will provide updates on Twitter.  I wonder if they serve beer at this thing.

Clemson's lineup is heavy on lefties, and the Tigers have a losing record against left-handed starters, so Elliott Avent has decided to give the ball to Alex Sogard.  Sogard's horrible peripherals (4.4 K/9, 3.7 BB/9) suggests this move isn't likely to do us any favors.  Might need 12 runs to win tonight.  Shakin' the Southland has some additional notes on the matchup.

A few other items:

-- Dave Glenn chats with Elliiott Avent.

-- Surprise! Avent thinks State is in the NCAAs.

-- ...and as far as Baseball America's Aaron Fitt is concerned, Avent's right.  BA has us on the fringe and in, while ESPN says we're on the fringe but out.  Based on that, I'm thinking two wins would be good enough.
