The First Week Of December Is A Doozy

A couple of weeks ago, State basketball's Twitter feed mentioned "back-to-back road trips in early December against two possible top-25 teams." Earlier this week, we found out that State will be playing at Wisconsin in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on December 1st.  And today SNY's Adam Zagoria revealed that State will travel to the Carrier Dome to play Syracuse on December 4th.  We've got ourselves a grueling week against a couple of teams that finished in the Pomeroy Ratings top ten last season.  This sets up to be the toughest week of non-conference play we've faced since who knows when.  Should be fun.

Toss in the game against Arizona, as well as potential matchups with Georgetown and a solid Charlotte team in the Charleston Classic, and this year's OOC slate is looking very good. Certainly good enough to do us some big favors in terms of RPI if the guys can deliver a few wins.

Quite the welcome to college basketball for Harrow and company.

The full schedule should be out later this month.
